LEADERSHIP

Blake Leavitt is the Principal and Founder of Blake Realty Ventures, founded in 2021. He oversees all acquisitions, asset management, debt financing, dispositions, equity partnerships, renovations, and executes the investment plan on each property from start to finish with the property management team. He is an accredited investor that has over 11 years of experience as an investor, over 7 years of experience as a real estate broker, and has lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for over 30 years. Blake Realty Ventures currently owns 48 multifamily units, is an LP in 3,004 multifamily units, and continues to grow their portfolio. 

In early life, at 10 years old Blake would walk the out of bounds area in the rocks on golf courses where he would find many golf balls that golfers hit out of bounds and left there. He would clean them and sell them on the 18th hole for “$1 each unless you can make a deal”. It was a success and he always sold out of Titleist Pro V1 392’s. In the coming years he would buy items and sell them for more than what he paid, use coupons to save money, and live a life where he saved almost every dollar he earned. 

Blake made his first real estate investment in 2012 when he was 19 years old and dropped out of college to pursue real estate. He purchased a fix and flip that was a 2,578 square foot home. Blake used a high interest hard money loan to acquire the property as he was unable to qualify for a traditional loan and the home needed a full renovation. He used his life savings for the down payment and renovations costs, then later sold the property for a five-figure net profit. 

In October 2015 at age 23 he earned his real estate salesperson license and became a residential real estate agent, in July 2017 at age 24 he became a commercial real estate agent brokering multifamily and commercial real estate, in June 2018 at age 25 he partnered with a multifamily owner and did project management on intensive value-add properties, in March 2019 at age 26 he earned his real estate broker salesperson license, and in March 2020 at age 27 he earned his property management license.

In December 2021 at age 29, Blake acquired his first commercial real estate property on behalf of Blake Realty Ventures that was 48 units on 820 S 3rd St in Las Vegas, Nevada. He fully funded the equity portion himself without any investors as this is the model for future acquisitions to show investors he can deliver. Blake says: “If you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will.”
